Home Buying Process

Choose your mortgage lender. One of the first steps is to choose a lender that can help you determine the price range you can afford. Choose a lender based on recommendations from a variety of sources, including family, friends and our preferred list.
Become preapproved for a mortgage. Once you have chosen a lender, work with that lender to become preapproved for a mortgage as you begin looking for a home. Gather necessary documentation, including pay stubs, W-2 forms, bank statements, debt statements and federal tax returns from the last two years. These, along with other documents are a few things that you will be asked to pull together.
Finding your new home. As you are working with your lender, we will begin searching for your new home. We will discuss
where you want to live based on your needs and wants (“the must haves and want to haves”).
Rely on our knowledge. Once you have found your new home, we will help you navigate through the transaction process, including writing an offer, reviewing dates and deadlines, and making it to the closing table. Buying a house can be one of your biggest life decisions and we hope to make it an enjoyable and exciting process.
